GREENVILLE, S.C. (April 21, 2017) – Elisabeth Yankelitis, a senior music education major at Bob Jones University, serves as a student teacher this semester at Mitchell Road Elementary located in Greenville.
Yankelitis, a resident of West Chester, Pennsylvania, helps teach general music to kindergarten through fifth grade students. She solo teaches kindergarten through third grade and helps the mentor teacher with fourth and fifth graders. Over the course of the week, Yankelitis manages nearly 600 students.
“This has been one of my favorite experiences of my college career,” says Yankelitis. “I love being able to share my passion and love for music with so many children.”
