GREENVILLE, S.C. (July 29, 2024) – Edward Cyran, a sophomore culinary arts major at Bob Jones University, is completing an internship with The Student Prince Café and The Fort in Springfield, Massachusetts.
A resident of Agawam, Massachusetts, Cyran works as a line cook in the kitchen. His responsibilities include food preparation and cooking food to order for guests. He has worked in all kitchen stations on the line, including the cold side/fry station, grill, sauté and oven. His role includes working as a part of the team to execute delicious food items in a timely manner as directed by the executive chef or his staff.
“During my internship at The Student Prince, I have been able to put into practice the many skills I was taught in my culinary arts classes and use them efficiently in a real-life setting,” said Cyran. “I have also gained a whole new understanding of the food service industry while building relationships that I hope to continue into the future. This internship has been a wonderful experience for me and I am thankful for the opportunity.”
