GREENVILLE, S.C.  (July 15, 2015) — Violinist David Kim will be returning to Bob Jones University this fall as an artist in residence in the Division of Music. Kim will be coaching students in the school’s orchestral program, holding a masterclass, teaching private lessons, and performing for the students and faculty. Kim’s residency will run October 14-16.

“When I visited Bob Jones University last season, I absolutely fell in love with the place,” Kim said. “The spirit, high quality, and most of all, many new friends in Christ, made it an unforgettable experience. I am blessed and delighted to return this fall.”

Kim is the concertmaster of the Philadelphia Orchestra, a position he has held for 16 years.

“We are so grateful for the opportunity to continue our relationship with Mr. Kim,” said Dr. Michael Moore, conductor of the BJU Symphony Orchestra. “It’s such a privilege for our students to work with an artist of his caliber and spirit, and we look forward to his visit with much anticipation.”
