GREENVILLE, S.C. (March 28, 2020) – The following statement may be attributed to Randy Page, Chief of Staff at Bob Jones University:
“Late this morning, Bob Jones University officials were notified that an immediate family member of a person associated with BJU and Bob Jones Academy High School tested positive for COVID-19. Neither BJU nor BJA has held in-person classes in the past two weeks.
The University and Academy are encouraging students, faculty and staff to self-monitor according to Centers for Disease Control and Prevention protocols. Those exhibiting symptoms should contact their primary care provider.
We are praying for this individual—and the thousands of people around the world—who have been diagnosed with COVID-19.”
