Greenville, S.C. (November 22, 2013) – Clayton Thompson, a junior accounting major at Bob Jones University, has accepted an internship with Bosch Rexroth in Fountain Inn, S.C.
Thompson, a resident of Bloomfield Hills, Mich., will be performing his internship during the spring semester. His responsibilities will include analyzing accruals, leasing contracts, sales margins, inter-company sales and inventory, and foreign source income and taxes. He will also assist in reconciling accounts.
Since Bosch Rexroth is a global company, Thompson will gain real-world experience in preparing financial statements which follow International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). These standards differ widely from standards commonly used in the United States.
