GREENVILLE, S.C. (July 8, 2019) – Chloe Buffalino, a senior international studies major at Bob Jones University, serves as a summer intern at the United States Embassy in Madrid, Spain.

Buffalino, a resident of Taylors, works in the Consular Section of the embassy which is divided into two sections, the Visa Section and the American Citizen Services (ACS) section. She works in the ACS section which provides Americans in Spain with support and documentation needed in situations such as arrests, births, loss of a passport, medical needs or death.

“This internship has opened doors for me that I never anticipated being able to walk through, from meeting the ambassador to simply having meals with foreign service officers. This opportunity has proved to be invaluable,” said Buffalino. “I’m excited to see how this life changing experience will impact my future career.”
