GREENVILLE, S.C. (January 29, 2016) – Catherine “Annalise” Musselman, a junior accounting major at Bob Jones University, serves as an intern for Mount Vernon Mills in Greenville.

Musselman, a resident of Duncan, South Carolina, is serving this semester in Mount Vernon Mills’ tax department. Musselman assists in consolidating expense reports for tax preparation, verifying depreciation methods of assets, and communicating with the company’s plant divisions about past expenses.

Mount Vernon Mills, Inc. is a diversified and integrated manufacturer of textile, chemical and related products for the apparel, industrial, institutional, and commercial markets. The company operates 13  facilities throughout the United States in North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Mississippi and Texas.

“This internship is allowing me to experience the tax department of a private company, while learning how to put into practice many of the terms and methods I studied in my accounting courses,” says Musselman. “It has been neat to see all of those things put into action!”
