Caleb Mauk Interns for Booz-Allen Hamilton

GREENVILLE, S.C. (November 29, 2016) – Caleb Mauk, a senior computer science major at Bob Jones University, served as an intern for Booz-Allen Hamilton headquartered in McLean, Virginia.

Mauk, a resident of Hamtrack, Michigan, worked in the cyber division with a team of five software developers and computer engineers with two project leads to develop a proof of concept system that allows Android users to gain quick and detailed communication with emergency personnel such as police, 911 dispatchers, and first responders. Mauk’s personal role was creating the web application used to view the user’s information, GPS location, and live video feed.

About the value of his internship, Mauk says, “The experience I gained at Booz-Allen Hamilton was invaluable toward both my personal confidence of my abilities and in building my career as a software engineer.”
