Bob Jones University to Host NCCAA National Tournaments

GREENVILLE, S.C. (November 13, 2017) – The Bob Jones University Bruins athletics program will host over 400 student-athletes for the National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA) Division II Men and Women’s Soccer and Women’s Volleyball National Championships Wednesday, Nov. 15, through Saturday, Nov. 18, in BJU’s Alumni Stadium and Davis Field House.

“We’re honored to host these DII national championships here at BJU and are very excited to welcome all of the teams to Greenville,” said BJU Bruins Athletic Director Dr. Neal Ring. “My staff and I are committed to providing an exceptional championship experience for the teams, fans, and our community.”

The men’s soccer tournament will feature teams from Kansas Christian College, Trinity Baptist College, Kentucky Christian College, Pensacola Christian College, Providence College, and BJU. The games will take place at 5 and 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, with the championship game Saturday evening at 7.

The women’s soccer tournament will feature teams from Grace Bible College, Providence College, Randall University, and BJU, and the games will take place at 12 and 2:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday.

The women’s volleyball tournament will feature teams from Kentucky Christian University, Providence College, Emmaus Bible College, Randall University, Maranatha Baptist University, Toccoa Falls College, Johnson University – Tennessee, and BJU. The games will take place throughout the day Thursday and Friday with the championship game at 4:30 Saturday afternoon.

Tickets can be purchased at www.bjubruins.com/tickets. All-tournament ticket passes are available for $25 for adults and $17 for students (with valid student ID). Daily ticket prices are $10 for adults and $7 for students. Children ages 13 and under are free.

Parking for the tournament is available in the campus parking garage and in adjacent lots around Alumni Stadium.
