GREENVILLE, S.C. (February 15, 2016) – Bob Jones University will host its annual Bible Conference in the Founder’s Memorial Amphitorium (FMA) Feb.16-19. Throughout the ten sessions, five speakers will address the theme “The Sufficiency of Christ.”

“This year’s speakers bring a passion to their preaching that I believe will exalt Christ, help us more fully understand His sufficiency for every aspect of our lives, and inspire us to rejoice in Him,” said BJU President Steve Pettit.

Pettit will kick off the conference on Tuesday night, Feb. 16. Other speakers include Pastor Chris Anderson of Killian Hill Baptist Church, Lilburn, Georgia; Dr. Michael Barrett of Puritan Reformed Theological Seminary, Grand Rapids, Michigan; Dr. Dave Doran, pastor of Inter-City Baptist Church, Allen Park, Michigan, and president of Detroit Baptist Theological Seminary; and Evangelist Will Galkin from Morrison, Colorado. All services will be webcast live.

The evening service on Thursday, Feb. 18, will show appreciation to local pastors and churches that minister to BJU students, and we invite local church members to attend. The service will begin with a sacred concert featuring hymns written by BJU graduate Chris Anderson, and Pastor Anderson will preach after the concert.

Guests can also enjoy activities such as Parent’s Day and an Alumni Reception on the 17th, a Foundation Brass Concert on the 18th at 12:00 p.m. and a String Quartet performance on the 19th at 12:00 p.m.—both in the Kalmbach Room.

Gifts given by students, alumni and friends during Bible Conference will go toward the new Center for Global Opportunities, which will connect students with ministry opportunities, provide opportunities for collaboration on ministry projects and activities, and coordinate missions-related events.
