GREENVILLE, S.C. (August 28, 2014) – This morning, Bob Jones University opened “The Den”, located in the BJU Student Center, featuring Chick-fil-A, Papa John’s Pizza, Brody’s Grill and Cuppa Jones.

In opening “The Den,” BJU completed its renovation of the former snack shop and bookstore.

“The Den” offers a variety of comfortable seating—including booths, tables and community study locations—where students can relax and enjoy a wide array of food and beverage services. There are also two meeting rooms as well as a resource room and conference room available for student use.

In addition to the standard food service, “The Den” has partnered with Chin Chin, a local Chinese restaurant, to provide Chinese food during lunch hours. Cuppa Jones, the campus coffee store, features Peets Coffee and will offer a number of specialty drinks at “The Den” location.

Inside “The Den,” the Bruins Shop will feature Bruins items and apparel, as well as books, school and office supplies.

“We are always seeking to provide a location where students could gather and meet,” said Roy Hulehan, Director of Retail Operations at BJU. “Because of the expanded size of “The Den” and the numerous options for seating, it provides unparalleled opportunity for students to eat, study, fellowship and disciple one another.”
