Bob Jones University to Hold Baccalaureate, Commencement

GREENVILLE, S.C. (May 7, 2014) – Nearly 800 students will receive degrees at the 87th Annual Commencement of Bob Jones University Fri., May 9. The two-hour program begins at 2 p.m. in the Founder’s Memorial Amphitorium.

In addition to the 584 students receiving bachelor’s degrees, 130 students will receive master’s degrees and 60 students will receive associate degrees.

Thirteen candidates will receive earned doctoral degrees.

Dr. David Doran, president of Detroit Baptist Theological Seminary, Detroit, Michigan, will be the guest speaker at the University Baccalaureate Service Thurs., May 8 at 8:30 a.m.

Since its founding in 1927, Bob Jones University has conferred over 46,000 degrees.
