GREENVILLE, S.C. (April 27, 2018) – Bob Jones University announced today its official recognition by China’s Ministry of Education as an approved university for Chinese students to attend in South Carolina.

“We believe a diverse international student program works to fulfil and extend BJU’s global mission” said BJU President Steve Pettit. “BJU graduates are already recognized as leaders in China and around the world. We are pleased that China’s Ministry of Education has recognized BJU as an approved university.”

Accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges in June 2017 and recognized as a Top Regional University by U.S. News & World Report, BJU enrolls a high percentage of international students. Approximately 10% of BJU’s diverse international student population comes from China, and as more Chinese students consider a U.S. education, this recognition gives them confidence that BJU is effective at helping students achieve their goals.

BJU provides English language instruction, academic, career and immigration advising resources to help international students succeed.
