BJU Offers Free Concert Tickets to Hurricane Florence Evacuees

GREENVILLE, S.C. (September 14, 2018) – Bob Jones University is offering complimentary Fine Arts, Concert and Drama tickets to those displaced by Hurricane Florence.

On Tuesday, Sept. 18, BJU will host the first concert of the fall semester featuring world renowned artists Christopher Parkening and Jubilant Sykes at 8:00 p.m. in Founders Memorial Amphitorium. Parkening and Sykes have thrilled audiences around the world with their unique pairing of classical guitar with rich baritone notes.

“We are keenly aware of the strain the storm has placed on millions of civilians and first responders on the East Coast. Our student body has partnered with the Blood Connection to donate 140 units of blood ahead of Hurricane Florence’s arrival,” said BJU President Steve Pettit. “We trust that this concert ticket offer will provide an evening of respite to evacuees during this difficult and uncertain time.”
