GREENVILLE, S.C. (November 21, 2024) – Bob Jones University invites the Greenville community to the annual Christmas Celebration Friday, Dec. 6, from 4 – 9 p.m. on the BJU campus.

“This longstanding tradition is a wonderful way to bring together our campus and local community to celebrate the true reason for the Christmas season,” said Dr. Josh Crockett, BJU president. “It’s a time for all of us to pause, enjoy each other’s company, and reflect on the joys and blessings of the holidays.”

In addition to the Carol sing and Campus Lighting, attendees can enjoy a variety of holiday activities, including:

  • Alumni Christmas Market (Welcome Center and Den, 4-9 p.m.)
  • BJU Student Christmas Market (Gallery Green, 4-6:30 p.m.)
  • Christmas Activities for Children (Various locations, 4-6:30 p.m.)
  • Holiday Cookies and Hot Cocoa (Behind Den Plaza, *while supplies last)
  • Christmas music performed by the BJA High School Concert Choir (Rodeheaver Plaza, 6:15 p.m.)
  • Live Radio Show (Den, 7:30-9 p.m.)
  • Photo Opportunities Spots to capture the memories

Dining options include holiday dinner in the Dining Common (pre-sold tickets only) and food trucks located on Fine Arts Drive.

The Carol Sing will start at 6:30 p.m. in front of Rodeheaver Auditorium. During the sing-a-long, Dr. Crockett will read the Christmas story from Luke 2. At 7:30 p.m., the Symphonic Wind Band along with the University Chorale and Concert Choir will present “Carols and Classics” in Rodeheaver Auditorium.

A video recap of last year’s event is available here. The children’s activities will be open until 6:30 p.m. All of the evening’s events are open to the public.
