This exhibition features examples from the graphic design majors’ senior portfolios and internships.

Monday, April 7, 5:00 p.m., War Memorial Chapel

The String Faculty will celebrate the music of Dr. Dwight Gustafson. The program will feature his four-movement string quartet, “Songs of the Kings,” and several of his string solo compositions and arrangements.

Steven Chambers, piano, will present his minor recital.

Tuesday, April 8—Thursday, April 10, Exhibition Corridor, Sargent Art Building

This exhibition displays the works of art finalists competing in the American Association of Christian Schools National Art Competition and includes the winners in each category for 2014.

Friday, April 11, 5:00 p.m., Stratton Hall

Sarah Enriquez, piano, will present her senior recital. She will play works composed by Grainger, Beethoven, Prokofiev, Debussy, and Wagner.

Friday, April 11, 6:30 p.m., Fine Arts 119

Naomi Baker, piano, will present her junior recital.

Friday, April 11, 7:00 p.m., War Memorial Chapel

Marissa Doney VanDeusen, mezzo-soprano, will present her graduate recital. She will sing works composed by Handel, Brahms, Rossini, Duparc, Pearson-Thomas, Niles, and Charles.

Saturday, April 12, 1:00 p.m., War Memorial Chapel

Christina Fisher, piano, and Nathan Dupont, baritone, will present their senior recitals. Christina will play works composed by Bach, Cowell, and Brahms. Nathan will sing works composed by Vaughan Williams, Bach, Mendelssohn, and Forrest.

Saturday, April 12, 3:00 p.m., War Memorial Chapel

Rebecca VanDeburgh, piano, will present her senior recital. She will play works composed by Clementi, Crumb, and Rachmaninoff.

Ben Cepeda, piano, will present his junior recital.

Saturday, April 12, 5:00 p.m., War Memorial Chapel

Opus 6, the six member ensemble of the vocal arts department, serves up a musical banquet of small ensemble treats from the middle ages to the present.

The University’s resident wind quintet features works for flute, oboe, clarinet, horn, and bassoon. The program includes works by Cambini (Quintet No. 1), Arnold (Three Shanties), and Taffanel (Quintet).

Monday, April 14, 5:00 p.m., Stratton Hall

Shawn Richardson, piano, will present his senior recital. He will play works composed by Bach, Chopin, Rachmaninoff, and Debussy.
