Congratulations to the Bob Jones University Computer Science team who competed in the Association for Computing Machinery International Collegiate Programming Contest sponsored by IBM this past weekend.

Four programming teams from BJU competed in the Southeast Region Contest held at Georgia Tech. The Bruins finished first in Division II which included Auburn University, College of Charleston, Wofford College, Winthrop University, and Southern Wesleyan University.

For you geeks out there, the contest involved solving 10 problems conducted in a GNU/Linux environment. The programs could be submitted in Ada, C, C++, C#, Fortran >=90, Java, Haskell, Lua, Pascal, Python 2&3, and Scala. The BJU A team completed 8 of the 10 problems within a five hour period.
