GREENVILLE, S.C. (November 25, 2024) – Bob Jones University will showcase Handel’s Messiah on December 12-13, 2024, at 7:30 p.m. in Rodeheaver Auditorium.
“Join us in celebrating the Christmas season as BJU’s combined choirs and orchestra perform selections from this iconic oratorio,” said Nathan Pittack, associate producer for fine arts at BJU. “Experience the powerful accounts of Christ’s birth and ministry, as told through Handel’s masterpiece.”
A pre-concert talk will be held by Dr. Paul Overly on Thursday, December 12, at 6:30 p.m. in War Memorial Chapel. Dr. Overly will explore the enduring influence of Messiah, its continued popularity, and the fascinating stories surrounding the reactions it has sparked over the centuries.
