GREENVILLE, S.C. (April 8, 2016) – Bob Jones University students in the Advanced Expository Preaching class will host a mini-conference on the theme “The Gospel is Worth Living” on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays beginning April 11 through April 20 in Levinson Hall at 1 p.m.

Based on BJU’s spring chapel theme “Live Worthy of the Gospel,” the conference will address how to apply that theme practically. Participants will discuss topics such as the gospel and apologetics, the gospel and technology, and the gospel for both believers and unbelievers. Discussions will also be directed to gospel application in a variety of careers.

“The guys in my advanced expository preaching class had a burden to minister the Word outside the context of the classroom,” said Dr. Kerry McGonigal, a faculty member in BJU’s School of Religion. “They wanted to challenge and help their peers to live worthy of a worthy Gospel. They decided on a conference theme, divided the topics among themselves, and have developed some truly biblical and practical sermons that will benefit all who come.”
