GREENVILLE, S.C. (March 7, 2016) – Bethany Williams, a senior journalism & mass communications major at Bob Jones University, is serving as a media relations intern for the Greenville Swamp Rabbits.
Williams’ duties include managing social media accounts, writing feature stories, post-game recaps and press releases, and assisting with the team’s website.
The Greenville Swamp Rabbits hockey team, proud ECHL affiliate of the New York Rangers and the AHL’s Hartford Wolf pack, play their home games at the Bon Secours Wellness Arena located in Greenville, South Carolina.
“My internship is giving me the opportunity to stretch my limits,” said Williams, a resident of Williamsville, New York. “I have been able to apply my classroom knowledge to real projects and grow in areas that I can see myself working in after graduation. I have also gained a greater appreciate for the sports marketing world through working with the Swamp Rabbits.”
