GREENVILLE, S.C. (April 27, 2022) – Bethany Daulton, a senior kinesiology major at Bob Jones University, is completing an internship with Southside Christian School in Greenville.
A resident of Greenville, Daulton is working with the athletic department, specifically physical education classes. Her responsibilities include teaching 6th-9th grade girls two days a week, assisting with an elementary physical education class and working with an elementary school basketball camp after school hours. She also enters school attendance figures and student grades weekly.
“This internship has allowed me to observe teachers and teach classes myself. I’ve enjoyed making relationships with the teachers and students here,” said Daulton. “I’ve learned a lot about professionalism, communication and being flexible. I plan on taking what I’ve learned here into my future career as a physical education teacher and coach.”
