GREENVILLE, S.C. (October 13, 2016) – Benjamin Sherrick, a sophomore information technology major at Bob Jones University, served as an intern this summer for Lima Memorial Health System in Lima, Ohio.
Sherrick, a resident of Elida, Ohio, served in the information technologies department. Sherrick’s responsibilities included managing help desk tickets, troubleshooting and fixing devices, reimaging devices, working with inventory, replacing hard drives, installing software, and training users on a variety of devices.
“Interning for Lima Memorial’s I.T. Department was valuable to me in the aspect of getting a first-hand experience of how the I.T. world actually operates,” says Sherrick. “Coming back to school this semester, I realized how much I had learned from the internship. I feel more comfortable completing my assignments because of the knowledge and experience I gained through my internship.”
