GREENVILLE, S.C. (November 10, 2016) – Benjamin Armstrong, a senior Bible major at Bob Jones University, serves as an intern for Hampton Park Baptist Church in Greenville, South Carolina.
Armstrong, a resident of Hanover, Pennsylvania, is serving by accompanying pastors on visits, teaching Sunday school classes, as well as teaching Bible classes at Hampton Park Christian School. Armstrong is also gaining experience through observing pastoral staff and pastoral meetings.
“I have found my internship to be extremely valuable,” says Armstrong. “Personally, I have grown in my communication skills, interpersonal skills, and developed a network of contacts. Academically, I have benefited from seeing what I have studied the past four years actually lived out on a day-to-day basis.”
