Ashley Taylor Named Director of Media and PR for Bon Secours St. Francis Health System

GREENVILLE, S.C. (March 22, 2016) – Ashley Taylor, a 2010 graduate of Bob Jones University, has recently been named Director of Media and Public Relations at Bon Secours St. Francis Health System located in Greenville.

Taylor, a Greenville native, graduated with a degree in radio and television broadcasting and has an extensive background in news. Previously, Taylor served as news anchor and reporter at WMBF News, the NBC affiliate in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Taylor then transitioned to the field of public relations at the Shriners Hospitals for Children-Greenville, working with media relations, community outreach, brand awareness, and writing pieces featuring patient stories and medical advancements being made at the Shriners Hospital.

“Ashley was an exceptional student when she was in my classes, always striving for excellence and determined to learn as much as she possibly could,” said Betty Solomon, a journalism and mass communication professor at BJU. “She is a professional in every way.”

Taylor’s new role with St. Francis will include working with the media and promoting the most interesting and relevant health-related stories to the community.
