GREENVILLE, S.C. (July 3, 2017) – Anthony ‘Ryan’ Counts, a junior information technology (IT) major at Bob Jones University, interns this summer with Founders Federal Credit Union headquartered in Lancaster, South Carolina.
Counts, a resident of Lancaster, works in the IT department as a technical assistant. Some of his responsibilities include deploying PC images, troubleshooting network connection issues, replacing old computers, installing new workstations, and assisting team members as needed.
“I believe that my internship is the most valuable experience of my academic career because I am putting into practice the knowledge and skills I have been learning in the classroom over the past few years,” said Counts. “This opportunity gives me real world expectations of what it is like to work in my field of study, and that experience is priceless when it comes to finding a full-time job after graduation.”
