GREENVILLE, S.C. (April 10, 2017) – Anthony Melsom, a junior accounting major at Bob Jones University, serves as an intern this semester for the Wilds Christian Camp located in Brevard, North Carolina.
Melsom, a resident of Greenville, South Carolina, works in the accounting and finance department. His responsibilities include recording donation reports, reconciling bank statements, maintaining and updating the next fiscal year’s revenue and cost plan, analyzing fuel and electricity costs, and compiling department operating expense reports.
“While I initially focused on the value of the internship to my career growth, I have since seen that the true value of an internship was not the work itself, but rather in the people and experiences that accompany it,” says Melsom.
