GREENVILLE, S.C. (September 1, 2022) – Anna Harmony joins the Bob Jones University faculty this fall as an instructor in the Division of Communication in the School of Fine Arts and Communication.

She earned a BA and an MA in communication studies from BJU.

Harmony was awarded the 2021 Mary E. Jarrard Prize by the Carolinas Communication Association (CCA) for her paper “The Discourse of Discrimination.” The prize is awarded annually to the outstanding undergraduate and graduate student paper submitted to the CCA annual convention.

“I’ve thoroughly enjoyed my time as a teaching graduate assistant at BJU and am looking forward to stepping into full-time teaching,” said Harmony. “I’m excited for the opportunity to develop my teaching abilities and mentor students in this new role.”

“Anna achieved noteworthy status during her time in the communication masters program,” said Dr. Jeff Miller, head of the BJU Department of Communication Studies. “We’re thrilled to have her share her passion for communication in the classroom.”

Harmony and her husband, Chris, attend Palmetto Baptist Church where she serves as a musician on the worship team and a college group leader.
