GREENVILLE, S.C. (June 17, 2019) – Anna DeMott, a senior communication major at Bob Jones University, serves as an intern this summer with Dare for More Ministries, a nonprofit in Chattanooga, Tennessee, which seeks to empower women through conferences and international relief efforts
DeMott, a resident of Roanoke, Virginia, is revamping the organization’s social media presence to increase user engagement. Her duties include writing projects, developing marketing strategies for an online store and advertising fundraising initiatives.
“This internship has opened my eyes to needs far greater than my own, the needs of women in crisis,” says DeMott. “It has been the perfect blend of business and ministry, fulfilling my need to feel purposeful in the work that I do.”
