GREENVILLE, S.C. (January 8, 2019) – Andy Gleiser, president of Andy Gleiser Evangelistic Ministries, will preach the opening services of Bob Jones University’s spring 2019 semester. The services will be held Jan. 8-9 at 7 p.m. in Founder’s Memorial Amphitorium on the BJU campus.

“It is important to start the semester by recalibrating our focus on Christ,” said BJU President Steve Pettit. “We are pleased to have Andy back on campus to challenge and inspire us for the work ahead.”

In 2001, Gleiser graduated from BJU with a BA in pastoral studies. He earned his Master of Ministry degree from Northland International University while serving as student ministries pastor at Burge Terrace Baptist Church in Indianapolis, Indiana. After serving on church staff for 13 years, Gleiser and his family went into itinerant evangelism.

A recurring theme in Gleiser’s preaching is an emphasis on helping local churches “learn, live and give the gospel of Jesus Christ entirely by God’s grace.” In addition to full time evangelism, he endeavors to compose Christ exalting hymns for congregational singing.

The services will be webcast live.
