GREENVILLE, S.C. (June 16, 2017) – Andrew Kester, a junior cross-cultural service major at Bob Jones University, serves this summer as an intern in Melo, Uruguay.

Kester, a resident of Colorado Springs, Colorado, works with two missionaries in their ministry to the gauchos, Uruguayan cowboys. Kester will gain experience in preaching, discipleship, evangelism, and teaching, in addition to other hands-on work opportunities on the ranch and with church construction.

“This internship is a great opportunity to receive practical instruction that will round out the academic knowledge I’m getting as a student and better prepare me for future ministry,” said Kester. “I’m grateful for the chance to experience the use of ranching in missions.”
