GREENVILLE, S.C. (July 9, 2018) – Amy Hudson, a senior criminal justice major at Bob Jones University, serves as an intern this summer with the Medina County Juvenile Detention Center (MCJDC).
Hudson, a resident of Medina, Ohio, is gaining experience by shadowing officers, observing drug court sessions, and working with the onsite social worker. Her responsibilities include attending programs with residents and helping with office duties.
“I’ve enjoyed the experiences I’ve had already working at MCJDC. The job itself has helped me understand corrections more and narrow down exactly what my interests are,” says Hudson.
