GREENVILLE, S.C. (April 19, 2017) – Amanda Crow, a senior middle school education major at Bob Jones University, serves as a student teacher this semester at Greenville Middle Academy.

Crow, a resident of Anniston, Alabama, is gaining hands-on experience in managing five science classes with 130 eighth graders. Her responsibilities include leading a classroom, teaching new information, and administering tests.

“I absolutely love student teaching because it allows me to get to know my students on a more personal level. It is different from practicum because I am with them every day rather than just two days a week,” says Crow. “This has definitely been a fantastic learning experience, and I am excited to use what I have learned in my own classroom one day.”
