GREENVILLE, S.C. (November 26, 2018) – Alan Papagno, a senior journalism and mass communication major at Bob Jones University, serves as an intern this semester for WCCP 105.5 FM “The ROAR” in Clemson, South Carolina.
Papagno, a resident of Belleview, Florida, performs on-air research for the hosts of the “The Press Box” radio show. His responsibilities include learning how to operate the sound board and transmitting equipment during “The Tiger Pregame Show.” The pregame show, a game day tradition, airs every Saturday before Clemson football games.
“This internship has been very practical. Getting the opportunity to run the board and learning the behind the scenes operations of a radio show expands my knowledge of the field I want to go into,” says Papagno. “Being at this internship has also solidified my aspiration to work in sports broadcasting.”
