Greenville, S.C. (November 16, 2013) – Aaron Iles, a senior mathematics major at Bob Jones University, finished ninth at the National Christian College Athletic Association’s (NCCAA) Cross Country National Championships held at Cedarville University in Cedarville, Ohio today.
Iles , of Monroeville, N.J., completed the 8K race in 26:10. Iles was also the first student-athlete at BJU to be named NCCAA All-American.
“I can’t thank my teammates and family enough for their tremendous support they gave me,” Iles said. “I have had All-American as a goal since last year and by the Lord’s enabling I achieved that goal and then some. We have incredible coaches and an incredible team and I attribute all of my success, apart from the Lord, to them.”
